Most people are unaware that
oil is used in the making of rope.
Due to this the rope industry has been hit hard by the rising cost of oil not only in production, but in fuel charges for freight. Because of this, my expenses have gone up across the board for rope, supplies, and freight. |

Samson Rope Technologies
issued a statement to me on 6-23-08 that the price of rope will be going
up 9% on August 1st.
They stated that Polyester Rope has gone up 16% and Freight 10-15% in costs from 2007. |

I recommend that if you are
looking at placing an order you should do that before August 1st, because
that is when my prices will also be going up drastically on the Samson
Rope and all other rope will increase the percent I have incurred from
my suppliers.

I try to keep spools of all colors in stock, but at times I can be out of a spool in the color you want, I will contact you in the event that happens.
Braid on Braid - Yachting Rope
Polyester produces less friction, so that means a greatly reduced chance of rope burn and less abrasion on your horse’s skin. Combined with a comfortable weight in the hand our Braid on Braid rope is perfect for all natural horsemanship techniques.
Knots tied in polyester will hold tight, but can always be undone should adjustment be required.
Unlike cheap halter cords and webbing, Polyester will not harden or powder with age and will have only minor fading over the long life of the rope. It is unaffected by water, will not rot, mold or mildew and is resistant to most acids and oils. Polyester can be washed with normal household detergents in warm water.
Cheap polypropylene halter cords and webbing have a much lower breaking strain (about 30% less) and lose another 30% per year through age. Polyester ropes lose only 3% per year making ropes that can be relied on not to break.
